I’ve recently rekindled my love of cycling last year and since then have been spending as much time on my bike and even started regularly commuting to work and everywhere I can. The thing though was when I initially bought my mountain bike about 6 years ago I just got whatever I could afford and available then, just the most basic model one could get, I would always sell myself short by just getting whatever I can get now instead of waiting.
In December of last year I was tired of selling myself short, I grinded hard to do what I can to get a bike that I can truly appreciate. Don’t get me wrong, I love my mountain bike (which I named Rockit) and had great adventures with, but my next bike I wanted to do it right. I worked hard at day job, did a few art commissions, taught art and scrounged up what I can to get what I wanted.
